Say Hi to Candice & Badou who finally married at the beautiful Eaves Hall in Clitheroe, Lancashire. We had a quick chat with them post wedding to find out a little more about them. It was my first time photographing at Eaves Hall. It’s a beautiful contemporary georgian house, which is an exclusive use wedding venue.
How did you both meet?
Childhood friends
What was the proposal like?
Badou proposed by getting our son who was 5 at the time on Christmas day to ask “Mummy will you marry Daddy?”
How did you find wedding planning?
Wedding planning through the pandemic was a real test ! But we are an amazing team and everything went smoothly.
The hardest thing was making the decision to move to a later date to have the dream wedding.
Why did you choose your wedding venue?
We came to a wedding show at the venue on the way up to its sister venue – Mitton Hall. We were blown away by how stunning our venue was! The grounds and drive up to the venue still gives me goosebumps!
Definitely the wow factor we wanted.
What was your favourite part of your wedding day?
The favourite part of my day as a Bride was at my wedding breakfast, looking around and seeing how everything we had planned for 3 years had came together so perfect. The smile on my family and friends faces – the room was filled with love and joy. And i got to marry my best friend.
What song did you have for your first dance, and why did you choose it
Our first dance choice was
Never too much – Luther Vandross
This was a tribute song for Badou’s Late Father – Parr Drameh
