Say hello to Amy & Allesandro who recently married at the lovely Three Horseshoes Country Inn wedding venue in Staffordshire

How did you both meet?
We met through mutual friends and our first date was at a local pub. From our first date we knew we had met the one!

What was the proposal like?
A holiday to Rome was booked – or so Amy thought….
Convinced an engagement was coming, Amy ‘kindly’ offered to unpack Al’s belongings; little did she know, the ring was hidden inside his glasses case within the cleaning cloth.
The location of choice was the hotel roof terrace overlooking the city; the date – 11th April 2017; food of choice – a large bag of Lay’s potato crisps. Everything was perfect.
Whilst enjoying her Lay’s, Amy turned to find Al on one knee. “Will you marry me?” The response: “Is this a joke?” Quickly followed by a yes.

How did you find wedding planning?
Although we had to move our date 4 times because of COVID, planning the wedding was such an enjoyable experience for us both. There were checklists for everything but on the day it all turned out perfectly and there is nothing we would change.

Why did you choose your wedding venue?
The Roaches is one of our favorite locations to walk, and with the stunning views over the Roaches The Three Horseshoes was the only place we wanted our special day.

What was your favourite part of your wedding day?
We both agree that the ceremony was our favourite part of the day. When we both saw each at the aisle and the realisation our special day had finally come after years of waiting, we were both so excited to finally say “I do”.

What song did you have for your first dance, and why did you choose it?
I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing (Boyce Avenue Version) As well as being the song from Amy’s favourite film, the lyrics fit the occasion perfectly and complimented the vows we had made earlier in the day.
